Description
Let’s start learning Japanese vocabulary with this course! Hiragana and katakana are the Japanese syllabaries that were once created by simplification of the Chinese characters – kanjis. They are used to write down Japanese words phonetically.
As katakana is used more rarely than hiragana, the beginners tend to cut the edges and have difficulties afterwards. In this course you will learn katakana in the beginning. And when you pass to practicing hiragana you will still have some katakana practice exercises, so that when you are ready to dive into reading and writing in Japanese, the katakana words wouldn’t confuse you.
